News items have appeared showing pictures of
the Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with
the Thailand Prime Minister Yingluck
Shinawatra shaking hands with her as gesture
of warm welcoming in the country. It is for
the first time in the past 60 years that the Thai
premier is paying official visit to the country
with high level delegation aimed at
strengthening the bilateral ties between the
two countries. The Thai Prime Minister is on
official visit for two days from 20-21 August
2013. Earlier she had visited Tajikistan.

The official visit of the Thai premier has led to
various questions. The media men are raising
questions of the unexpected meeting. But the
thing most unacceptable to the nation is the
shaking of hands of an Islamic State male
Prime Minister with a non- Muslim female.
Muslim political leaders of other nations follow
their national dress code for the international
meetings and some nations like China converse
in their official language instead of using the
widely spoken English, even at international
level meetings and conferences.
In past the former Foreign Minister Hina
Rabbani Khar also shook hands with the Indian
Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna and other male
leaders which was totally against the ethical
and religious norms of our country.
As being representative of an Islamic State our
leaders should follow and remain restricted to
the gestures which are forbidden in our
religion. An Islamic woman who covers her
head should not let the non-Muslim males to
exchange welcoming gestures that involve the
touching of body part.

NAWAZ SHARIF SHOOK HANDS WITH PRIMINISTER OF THAILAND
CM PAKISTAN KIDNAP ATTEMP FAILED
Lahore: A joint action by the law enforcement
agencies and police forces revealed the
conspiracy plotted to abduct the Punjab chief
minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif. The two
institutions foiled the plan that was chalked
upon by the members of the Tehreek –e-
Taliban – Punjab after the operatives of
offshoot in Punjab. On suspicion militant
Usman has been arrested.
The arrested militant and master mind Qari
Obaid Ilyas, nick Usman told the police that he
had hatched the plot of kidnapping the
minister with other Taliban members too,
namely Qari Imran and Qari Aslam Yaseen also
known as Osama. The militant stated that the
Punjabi Taliban Commanders had sent 4
militants and 1 woman from South Waziristan
to him for making the abduction of the
minister successful. However it was also
revealed that the basic motive behind the
terror attack was to free their accomplices who
are held as captives in different jails of the
country.
According to the police sources, Usman and
his other two partner in terrorism hail from
TTP- Punjab. The latter two are in contact with
the Al-Qaeda network, they further told.
Usman however was arrested on the Raiwind
road where he had come to meet his
counterpart Javed.
PTI Shares Vision And Ideology As MQM: Farooq Sattar
Lahore: MQM Senior leader Farooq Sattar said
that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ideology and
views are very close to Muttahida. Clearing
down the news’s appearing against the
restriction the MQM chairman Altaf Hussein he
said that the leader is not restricted in any way
by the government in London, stating that still
there exist many rivals of him.
Farooq pointing to the controversies being
hatched against the party stated that if Imran
Khan is called upon on a show then he would
brief the facts and the truths. ‘Deliberate
attempts are being made to thrive back MQM’
he called.
The former rabita committee member said that
no one has the right to declare MQM as
dictator or a patriotic party. He further
clarified that life threats have been given to
Altaf Hussein and hence the London
government as part of the security step has
restricted his unnecessary movements. ‘If any
political party that shares the vision and aim as
that of MQM is PTI because like Muttahida,
Tehreek –e-Insaf believes in bringing the
middle class into politics and like us they also
oppose puppet ruler ship.’
Sattar directed the PML N leadership to accept
MQM as the strong political party and not to
level any allegations of dictatorship against it.
He said that Altaf Hussain has asked the party
workers to remain silent and show patience
incase he gets arrested, he further talked
upon.
It is worthwhile here to mention that the two
political parties in the last held May elections
have had been opponents of each other. The
PTI leader, Imran Khan had clearly announced
of not forming coalition with any political
party especially with MQM to win over votes in
the major capital city of Sindh province,
Karachi which is considered to be a central
hub that is under the control of MQM.
The two parties had exchanged hot words and
the PTI had strongly been foe of Altaf Hussein.
Ironically, the two party chairmen had had
used abusive languages for each other which
was streamed on TV, online websites and was
recorded as written statements in the
newspapers.
Muslims’ Insult Cases are increasing in India
The hostile attitude by the LoC neighbor India
is not new. Since their inception the two
countries have been engaged in some conflicts
and disagreements, either in terms of
violations of agreements or being alleging each
other with unlawful activities. Both the
countries have entered into serious
deteriorated relations from last year. The
happening of the Mumbai incident, the Veena
Malik controversy, opposition of Hindu
extremists on the marriage of the sportsmen
Sania and Shoaib, the art gallery vandalism in
the Hindu State and the bone of contention
these days is the uninterrupted violation of the
ceasefire agreement at Loc between the two
countries.

Another story that appeared of Indian enmity
is that of a local Indian Muslim based mobile
retailer Hafiz Yousuf. The young bearded man
who had his shop in a district in India was
arrested from his shop by the local policemen.
He was taken into custody for three days on
the name of interrogation but soon the
attitude changed and Yousuf was alleged to be
involved in unlawful activities in the country.
The prisoner was then presented in the court.
Yousuf narrated that he had not been given
chance to prove his innocence instead the
officials began to harass and torture him. “I
was treated indifferent unlike others”. I did not
suffer only but my family also went through
mental tortures.
He then said that he was later shifted to a jail
somehow 1200 kilometers away from his
residence and local area, with which he was
unfamiliar. I have had not committed any
crime, I don’t know why they had been so
cruel to me.” I was given an isolated room
hardly of 8 meters with 10-15 battalions who
waited outside my room. It had washroom
attached which barely gave enough space for
movement.’
The retailer said that the jail where he
was shifted was far from the borders
of Pakistan and India and the parents
were not given more than 10 minutes
to meet the victim.
Hafiz remained in jail for about 2 years and
has appealed the high court for justice. He
criticized the Indian media for being biased
and said that we Indian Muslims, despite being
the local people are treated with hostility and
biasness is shown against us for no reason.
This is not one case. Indians have had been
responsible for holding many captives for their
whole lives, torturing them and many times
killing and sending the dead bodies. Way for
negotiating peacefully seems undesirable. The
Pakistani high officials should hold serious
meetings and protest internationally for human
rights violation.
Petition Filed Over Restriction Of Zardari & Kayani’s Foreign Trip
Islamabad: A petition has been filed in the
Supreme Court against the President Asif Ali
Zardari and Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq
Pervaiz Kayani over going abroad from the
country without prior permission and
presenting themselves in the court.
Applicant Shahid Orakzai has filed the agreed
application in constitutional petition number
92/2011. Doubts are presented by the officials
over the happening of the Abbotabad and
Osama bin Laden incident that points to the
alleged involvement of the President in the
matter.
Allegations have been leveled against Zardari
that he already knew about the CI operation
and he had not informed the armed officials
on the directive message by the former
American ambassador, Hussain Haqqani.
Zardari’s involvement in the high-level
violation incident is further marked by the
anxiety he had shown over the investigations
done with Haqqani. ‘He has asked for the
interrogations to be done in his presence’,
officials stated.
In the application it has been stated that the
interrogations took place in the presence of
the President in the President House while the
Haqqani was questioned about his alleged
involvement in the matter by the DG ISI Shuja
Pasha, President Zardari, former Prime
Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and COA
General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani were present on
the occasion.
The applicant said that the three men have
already left the country and after completing
their tenure Zardari and Kayani will also leave.
It has been appealed to the court that role of
Haqqani in the memo scandal is crystal clear
therefore the court should impose restriction
over the foreign trip of the President and the
COA should be bounded to ask for permission.
Journalist Talat Hussain Slams Pakistani Media
The famous journalist of Pakistan Talat Hussain
slamming the role played by the local media
has said that journalism looks to lose its true
essence. Media which is being considered a
watch dog of the society and a platform for
the voice of people is devoted to raise the
happenings of other countries especially that
of the neighboring country, India. In his
writing piece he talked about the features, the
news stories covered on various female
actresses of India in which every details related
to their personal lives is there.
Criticizing he said that knowing the single
details of Indian film industry has been made
easy by the Pakistani media who covers all the
entertainment facts from Bollywood.
Expressing failure of the journalists to neglect
the serious masses issue happening globally
with Muslims in Syria, Egypt, Libya he writes
that the western media have given importance
to the Muslims ethics and norms as the France
media covered story of the Muslim woman
who refused to remove her veil from face in
the court despite the displeasure shown by the
court officials. ‘Unfortunately western media
pens about over issues but we being Muslims
and local people are less bothered to consider
it as our responsibility’. A France based woman
has however shown us that following her
religion even at the cost of violating
democracy remains her priority, the journalist
said.
Talat Hussain suggested that in order to
provide the readers with entertainment news
and good features, stories of rich people,
success stories of celebrities, known
businessmen and others could be published.
‘Our media looks to sell Indian culture and
norms by making part of its daily stories’.
He called it mere an illusion of fake characters
and creating fantasy around the Pakistani
people, a tactic used by Indians through their
news and other mediums.
Talat questioned about the local media and its
role. He pointed out that many news papers
had used ordinary headlines over the killing of
the Pakistani soldier by the Indian forces,
some even have not used word ‘martyr’ for the
deceased. It is disheartening to see such
practices he stated.

Bilawal & Sherry Rehman Condemns Crackdown on Tehreek-e-Insaf Protest
Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardar has
condemned the police crackdown on Pakistan
Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) sit-in/protest in Lahore.
Bilawal said that this action of police reminds
the regime of former military dictator General
Zia-ul-Haq.
Meanwhile former Pakistan’s Ambassador to
the US Sherry Rehman has also condemned the
violent crackdown on PTI workers and stated
on his official twitter account that PTI
workers/supporters should keep in mind that
this is Nawaz Sharif government and not of
Pakistan Peoples Party.
Tehreek-e-Insaf workers had staged a sit-in
outside Punjab Assembly as PTI has alleged
rigging in PP-150 constituency during by-polls.
Police arrested PTI leaders Mehmood-ur-
Rasheed, Andleeb Abbas, Ejaz Chaudhry. Mehar
Wajid and several workers. Imran Khan has
also condemned the act of Punjab police and
has demanded immediate release of workers.
Meanwhile Federal Information Minister
Pervaiz Rashid has said that all the workers of
PTI have now been released after orders from
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Sherry Rehman Tweet:
Indeed @alisalmanalvi ear
#PTI, it’s not a #PPP govt that
you’ll stage a peaceful protest
and get away with it. It’s a
#PMLN govt now.

Don’t Believe In Jannah After Death: Shaista Lodhi
Months back Geo TV Morning Show host
Shaista Lodhi has again attracted the social
website pages as she presented a very wrong
thought in her show stating that as being a
human being we should strive more for making
our world a pleasure, a divine Jannah for us
instead of putting efforts for the Hereafter
heaven. Her controversial words have created
hype in the social media networks once again
where she is being highly criticized by people
for presenting such ridiculous notion.
In the beginning of the show, the doctor cum
host said that people may contradict with her
idea but it was she believes in. She said that
we should make this world, our living place
heaven for us and not believe in earning
heaven in life hereafter solely. The video,
cutting of the program which carries her
wordings is of 26 seconds and can be seen on
the websites easily.
People have slammed the host calling her to
be a hypocrite, illiterate. Earlier too, she had
faced oppositions from people after the news
items began to appear of her divorce because
she did not want to give up her career and
dedicate herself as a housewife. There had also
been rumors of the Shaista, sister of the host,
versatile Sahir Lodhi to enter into marriage
knots with Shakeel Ur Rehman, the Geo TV
owner, where she presently works.
Pakistani solder won the sowrd of honor
Islamabad: Pakistani cadet Corporal Asad
Mushtaq added to the pride of the nation after
winning the coveted Sword of Honor at the
prestigious Royal British Military Academy of
Sandhurst (RMAS) on August 9 in England.
The “Sword of Honor” was presented to the
young cadet by the Countess of Essex on the
country’s Sovereign Parade Day.
Yearly the senior division of the city holds
three Sovereign’s Parades in which the best
overseas cadet chosen by the foreign armies is
awarded with the prestigious award. The
British officers get their official armed training
at RMAS and are considered a hub of training
practices for its international recognition.
Asad in his media briefings named the wining
to the army officials and the martyrs. He
attributed the success to the Pakistan Military
Academy from where he got training in Kakul.
Pakistan High Commission organized a
reception later in honor of the award winner
which was attended by the Army and Air
Adviser Colonel Muhammad Zulfiqar Bhatti and
the various media representatives. Pakistan
High Commissioner for UK Mr. Wajid Shamsul
Hasan who was also present on the occasion
presented good wishes to the young cadet and
said that his spectacular performance has
earned name to the nation. He further asked
Asad to continue his army practices in future
on which the commissioned officer promised
to work with same zeal, enthusiasm and hard
work in the future.
It is worthwhile here to mention that the
award has had been earlier won over by
Junior under Officer Uqbah Hadeed Malik
of Pakistan in the year 2007.
The RMA Sandhurst was formed in 1947, from
a merger of the Royal Military Academy in
Woolwich (which trained officers for the Royal
Artillery and Royal Engineers from 1741 to
1939) and the Royal Military College at
Sandhurst.
Following the ending of National Service in the
UK, the RMAS became the sole establishment
for initial officer training in the British Army.
The Pakistani media known for its
sensationalising and biasness failed to present
the pride moment before the nation that
brought good name to the country. Instead of
encouraging the young comissioned officer for
being honored internationally because of his
deligent performance in the parades our media
covered it as part of some foreign local
happening.
Like many other important issues our media
failed to due its role. Every day happenings
related to Bollywood especially are immensely
given importance but the widely covered
Muslim suppressed stories, stories that add
pride to the nations are neglected
unfortunately which raise questions over the
responsiblities of media in the society.
Imran khan with white girls
Cricket is a sports game which gives a blur
thinking of foreign trips, stadiums full of
massive crowd, luxury lifestyle and image of
millions of fan followers as we talk about it. All
those players they be batsmen, bowlers,
fielders who are devotee, for whom playing for
their country’s pride and being loyal to the
profession is the utmost priority do not only
earn fame, respect become millionaire at local
level only but they are those who get
international recognition due to their skills,
talent and the passion towards their team and
game. These figures have massive fan following
belonging from all age groups from children to
male, female who would run after the
celebrities and waste their time and money to
get their autographs or even a slight look of
their superstars.
The sport personalities are approached locally
and internationally in the dance parties, TV
shows, concerts where they get to interact
with their fans who may range from dark to
fair, belonging to diverse age group, religion,
country. These days there are more female
cricket fans then previously they used to be.
After getting chance to meet their inspirational
figures, women fly in air and what good can be
more than this if their ‘heroes’ fall for them?
Then what happens is getting in the
relationship of marriages as it had had
happened with Imran Khan and Jemima,
Mohsin Khan and Reena Roy. Shoaib Malik and
Sania Mirza, our swing champion Wasim
Akram has also added up in the list.
Getting in close ties with foreigners gets
important for the cricketers who are near to
their retirement since after their retirement
their sole earning depends on playing counting
and doing commentaries in games. It is the
time when the news items of relationships stir
and sometimes end up in marital relations.
The former opener and member of former
team selection Mohammad Ilyas laid down the
way for such happenings who got married in
England after which Younis Ahmed, Waseem
Hasan Raja, Saqlain Mushtaq, Imran Khan and
Yasir Arafat joined the lane.
Asian bread man Zaheer Abbas,
former dashing opener Mohsin Khan
and all rounder Shoaib Malik married
Indian women.
The sport celebrities face several criticisms and
oppositions mostly from the families and
countries where they decide to marry a girl
from. In forms of scandals news items about
the relationships begin to appear sometimes
unfolding the hidden truths or aimed at
defaming the two in love. Women are among
the critics, the fan followers who oppose the
trend of getting married to someone not of
one’s nationality or religion.
Shoaib Malik-Sania Mirza Wedding Picture
Shoaib and the Indian tennis star got married
in 2010 after being friends and confessing to
their relationship. Likewise Pakistani South
African player got married to an Indian woman
in SA. In the year 1995 legendary cricketer
Imran Khan married to British woman Jemima
who was the daughter of the well to-do British
businessman goldsmith. Mohsin Khan in 80’s
got married to Indian woman Reena Roy but
their marriage ended in failure like that of
Imran Khan and the two are now divorced.
Tasleem Arif, former cricketer has the same
marital story who married an Australian lady.
Wasim Akram With His Second Wife Shaniera
Thompson
47 year old legendary bowler Wasim Akram
entered into second marriage with Australian
based 30 year old public relation officer
Shaniera Thompson. After the death of his wife
Huma, from whom he has two sons, Wasim
decided to marry the lady after being in love
with her. They got married last week while the
reception is expected to hold in the upcoming
months of the following year. Wasim got
married to Huma in the year 1995 but due to
her kidney failure she couldn’t survive.
It is worthwhile here to mention that there had
been scandals and news about the affair of
the legend with the Bollywood beauty Sushmita
but Akram had never talked about getting
married to her or having relationship with her.
